Registered Psychologist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary wellness team. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering client-centered care and working collaboratively with physiotherapists, massage therapists, and other healthcare professionals. You will provide assessments, individual therapy, and support to clients facing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, and life transitions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and provide diagnoses when appropriate

  • Deliver evidence-based treatment (e.g., CBT, ACT, mindfulness, trauma-informed approaches)

  • Maintain thorough and confidential client records in compliance with college and clinic standards

  • Collaborate with internal team members to support integrated care plans

  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and families as needed

  • Offer in-person and/or virtual therapy services

  • Participate in team meetings and case consultations when applicable


Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology

  • Registered and in good standing with the [College of Psychologists of Ontario or relevant provincial body]

  • Authorized to work with adults, and optionally with youth or couples

  • Experience in a clinical setting, particularly with chronic pain or health-related issues, is an asset

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative environment
