Amith Lal Malinge is a resident physiotherapist who is passionate about helping people overcome pain and injury to find joy in movement and maintain an active life. Amith received his Bachelor’s degree from Rajiv Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India. He moved to Canada in 2016 and has been working as a Resident therapist since October 2025.
He has 2 years of experience from India and completed Ontario internationally educated physical therapy bridging (OIEPB) program 2024 from University of Toronto Canada.
He did his internship in Toronto western hospital and PT health clinic for muscloskeletal injuries and gained physical therapy experience in treating patients with acute and chronic pain, overuse sports-related injuries, and post-surgery rehabilation for total knee replacement and total hip replacement
He believes in bridging the gap between traditional rehab and the ability to move and perform optimally, as well as empowering and coaching his patients to work towards goals that are most important to them.
In free time, Amith enjoys trying new cusines with friends and family.
